October. A song.
The following is a song I texted a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago. I thought it appropriate to share here. Enjoy…
(Loosely to the tune of It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.)
It’s beginning to look a lot more spooky. Every where you go. There are purples, oranges, and greens. Including falling leaves. And skeletons all neatly in a row.
Bum. Bum. Bum.
It’s beginning to look a lot more spooky. Now that fall is here. So grab you a PSL. Or a cider will work as well. As long as there’s pumpkins somewhere in your abode.
It’s beginning to look a lot more spooky. Go grab a dear friend. Tell them that fall is here. Put on your spooky gear. And cuddle up ready to watch a show! (Insert psycho sound effect here.)
It’s beginning to look a lot more spooky. Wait… what was that noise? Could be a stalker creep. Or maybe just lil’ ol me. Regardless you should probably check your door!
Phew!
It’s beginning to look a lot more spooky. So listen for the flap. Of the wings of a bat. As the flutter this way and that. Keep garlic handy in the event that they transform!
It’s beginning to look a lot more spooky. Quick! Rake up some leaves. Get ready to jump right in. Before this season comes to an end. And you have to wait another year more.
